Mary’s Meals – Love Reaches Everywhere

We love searching out charities doing uplifting work and when we came across a new film about Mary’s Meals we knew we had to share it.

The charity, which was started by Magnus MacFarlane-Barrow in 2002, serves nutritious meals in schools, attracting impoverished children to the classroom where they can gain an education that will one day be their ladder out of poverty.

Its programmes run in 19 countries: Malawi, Liberia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Haiti, Kenya, India, South Sudan, Uganda, Ethiopia, Benin, Lebanon, Syria, Myanmar, Thailand, Ecuador, Niger, Madagascar and Romania.

In response to current issues they have developed safe methods of distribution which allow almost all the children who normally enjoy our meals to eat at home instead.

We hope that you will consider supporting the work of this fabulous charity – just £15.90 is all that it costs to feed a child for a whole school year.

Have a look at the Mary’s Meals website and see those great smiles!
