David Hockney has a unique and wonderful way of looking at the world. He sees shapes and colors where most of us just see objects.
In the second video Hockney paints a tree in springtime in all its vibrancy and beauty. This is an outtake from a larger documentary of Hockney’s life called “A Bigger Picture.”
In May 2021 a new exhibition of Hockney’s work, , will open at the Royal Academy in London. The 116 works in the exhibit were “painted” on an Ipad and then transferred to paper. The pictures were created during an intensive work period last year at Hockney’s home in Normandy.
