Some of you may remember that I have a soft spot for campervan adventures dating back to when I arrived in France at the age of 10 in the back of one, squashed between my brothers and our lovely Labrador en route to a new life in France.
So, when I heard about Chris and Marianne Fisher, who set off from Shropshire this time last year to travel around the world in their 17-year old campervan, I wanted to share their story with you and was delighted when they sent us this message.
As you can imagine, the year has not panned out quite as the intrepid couple had expected but what really impresses me is how they have managed to adapt their plans to suit the circumstances and remained so positive and happy throughout.
They have spent the past few months traveling around Turkey and are now hoping to be able to cross into Russia as they continue their quest to visit ever country in the world.
Chris and Marianne publish a 20-minute video each Sunday and Wednesday, which you can watch on their YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/TREADtheglobe
