Track Sharks, Turtles, Dolphins and Whales

This amazing site plots the location of over 400 tagged sharks, turtles, dolphins, turtles, alligators and whales – and where they have been.

The site has been created by OCEARCH, an organisation that collects data in the ocean.

WHAT TO DO –

  • Click on the image or the link below to open the OCEARCH site
  • Navigate around the world map by clicking/touching, holding and dragging a mouse or your finger. Use either your mouse scroll, the ipad “pinch” or the + and – buttons to zoom in and out.
  • To track the path of an individual shark, turtle etc click on one of the images on the right and you will see the latest pings
