The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods’ P-Patch Community Gardening Program oversees 89 P-Patches throughout the city. P-Patches are community gardens where neighbors come together to grow both food and community. In addition to harnessing the land and learning about agriculture, the spaces provide an opportunity for neighbors to gather and strengthen networks through cooperative ventures. Each P-Patch is unique and serves as a source of pride for gardeners and the neighborhood as a whole.
